A Progressive Cavity Pump (PC) is a self priming rotary positive displacement pump, meaning a fixed volume is displaced with each revolution.

Progressive cavity pumps are capable of pumping a variety of fluids, including viscous polymers, slurries, sludges, high solid compounds and abrasive materials.

The basic pumping principle consists of a single helix that turns eccentrically in the double helix stator, thus the reason this design is often referred to as a Progressing Cavity Pump.

Progressive Cavity Pumps offer many features including :
